VITAMINS are present naturally in lots of foods.
MINERALS (magnesium, iron, calcium, phosphorus, sodium…)
A balanced diet (meat, fish, milk, vegetables, fruit…)
gives you all the essential vitamins and minerals.
Not having enough of them is as bad as having too much:
beware of taking multivitamin and mineral supplements taken without prior medical advice.
Neither give energy to your body, but they are essential for their chemical properties.
Average everyday eating habits tend to give us too much sodium (salt).
